About:China Work Visa

labor contract

please i would like to know if there is a necessity to have a labor contract in China to get a work permit?
I mean if a person is employed in France and need to go working temporarily in China, can this person applies for a Work Permit for PRC without having to present a Chinese labour contract?
need to check if a chinese labor contract is part of the mandatory requirement or not

Dear, the labor contract is necessary to apply for the work permit.
But considering your situation, if you just work in PRC temporarily and you are not employed by a company in PRC, you don’t need to apply for a work permit. You can just apply for a business M type to work in PRC temporarily.
