About:Prohibited Items

I am wondering if we are able to take dehydrated and vaccumed sealed meals into China.

We like hiking and it is cheap and light weight to take these meals.

As far as I know, meat and dairy products are not allowed to be taken into the country.
There is no problem of bringing dehydrated vegetables and fruit.
However, you still need to declare at the customs and let the meals go through the quarantine procedure.
