Family of Five in Luxury Soft Sleeper

We are a family of five (2 adults and three children) interested in taking the Z100B from Hong Kong [Hung Hom] to Shanghai on 22/06/2016. We are considering the Luxury Soft Sleeper, but understand that these have only 2 berths each, meaning we would essentially be booking berths in three different rooms. The reality is that we'd only use two of the rooms (3 in one room, 2 in the other room). Is it possible to book four berths for the Luxury Soft Sleeper and one as another (maybe hard sleeper), or do we need to book all tickets for the same class?

You can buy different class but in this way, your family would be separated in different carriages. Luxury soft sleeper cabin is for 1 passengers, soft sleeper for 4 ad hard sleeper for 6 passengers.

Oh, I am sorry! I meant 2 passengers (typing error). By the way, I'm wondering if the child is under 5 years old? As I know, each adult can take one child under 5 year for free if the child shares the bed with adult.

Okay, thanks so much. We are trying to not split up our family is separate carriages, so I suppose we would still need to book everyone under the same class, meaning three cabins (even though one of the three cabins will not be used).

One other item to clarify... your response says that the "luxury soft sleeper cabin is for 1 passengers", but online it indicates that the luxury soft sleeper is for 2. Can you confirm that it should be "2"? Thank you!
