About:China Family Reunion Visa

Australian citizen baby arriving in China

My baby and I are Australian citizens, my baby's father is Chinese citizen. We already arrived in China and we need to register locally for a one year family reunion visa. I brought her birth certificate but not notarised in Melbourne. Does her birth certificate needs to be notarised? What are the other requirements for our baby to register for the Q type? Thank you so much.

Her birth certificate needs to be attested by the Chinese consulate general in Melbourne.
The required documents are as follows:
1. The valid passport
2. The application form and a passport-sized color photo
3. Temporary accommodation registration form
4. The attested birth certificate and his father’s ID card (copy)
