China Southern Airlines - Electronic Devices

I have a question on the electronic devices policy for China Southern Airlines, however cannot seem to get a clear answer from their website.

I understand that mobile phones, even on flight mode are not permitted at any time during the flight. Does anyone know the rules for other devices which have wireless capability, however this can be switched off. For example iPads, Nintendo 3DS?

Regards,

Nicki

My experience shows that they ask to switch off all the Electronic Devices.

Is that for the whole flight? So no electronic devices are allowed on from departure to landing?

I think they did ask so. I used to see some one using the iPad, but if being noticed, the stewardess will ask you to switch it off. By the way, some flights offer the electronic devices of their own to kill time like Hainan Airlines.
