dujiangyan panda base

Question

How do we get from Qingcheng train station to the Dujiangyan panda base please?  And how far is it?After the panda base, around 12:00 noon, we would like to go to the Mt. Qingcheng cable car and then walk down the mountain.  How much time will it take us to cable car and walk down please?Can the above be done in one day, say between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.Thanks.

After arriving at Qingcheng Train Station, you can take bus no. 102 to Shiqiao Village and walk to the base, or take a taxi directly. It takes around 1.5 hours to drive from the base to Mt. Qingcheng. You can take cable car up and walk down according to your time. If it is too late, you are suggested to take cable car up and down.

Thanks. We were told previously taxi from train station is only about 10 minutes. Just wondering why it would take 1.5 hours to get back from Panda base to mt. Qingcheng. Thanks

1.5 hours is for public bus including walk. If you take taxi directly, it takes about 15 minutes from the base to Mt. Qingcheng. Taxi from train station to the base is about 10 minutes. It takes around 2 hours to take cable car up and walk down the mountain. It is an estimated time just for your reference.
