About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA on July 2016

I'm indonesia passport holder from Jakarta, we are going to Shenzen through Luo hu port on July 2016. Can we get VOA? Thanks

what about this sentence?
"Some may apply for it showing passports with proof that they have been issued Chinese entry permit before by embassies and consulates, such as Indonesians and Philippines." must have been issued Chinese entry permit before?

To Owen, I think this sentence is just showing a possibility. It's not very strict that you must have got a China visa previously.

To Daniel, I think it's possible. You can try your luck or apply for one in advance to play on the safe side.
