About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Direct Transit "Visa"

Hello, I am Indonesian passport holder. Planning to take Trans Manchuria trip. In short, here is my trip summary: CGK (Cengkareng) - BJS (Beijing) by air. Then take the train trip to Moscow. I'll be back to Indonesia either from Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou by air from Moscow (MOW-BJS/SHA/CAN-CGK). I am planning to take single entry Chinese visa at first.

My question is, am I eligible for direct transit for the return flight from Moscow via BJS/SHA/CAN to CGK? Or do I need to take multiple entry? Thanks -Ifa

Ifa, if your layover time in BJS/SHA/CAN is less than 24 hours when you return, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit. In this case, a single entry permit is enough.
