About:Jinshanling Great Wall

From west/east gate to middle gate of Jinshanling

Hello,

Are there any shuttles or similar between the west/east gate and the middle gate/entrance?

Say if we hike all the way to the east gate, how to we get back to the middle gate/entrance to take the bus back?

How long would it take to hike from the west gate to the east gate? Is that recommendable?

Thank you very much in advance.

There is no shuttle bus in the scenic area. Hiking all the whole from the west gate to the east gate would take several hours. You are suggested to start your trip from the west gate, for the western segment is not very long. A one-way hiking may take about 1h. Hiking the eastern segment will take a great effort. It would take nearly 3h from the middle gate to Houchuankou. There is a cableway from the middle gate to the Small Jinshan Tower. This may save a lot of your time and energy.
