About:Dress Code in China

Hi! I would like to ask if I can use our national costume when attending formal gatherings?

I was one of the students chosen to visit ShiShi City and Beijing for a purpose, respectively. One of the reasons why is that we will also attend regular classes in ShiShi to know their class environment. Aside from attending formal gatherings, what should we wear once we already attend their classes? Thank you ☺

Hi there, you can wear your national costume for formal gathering in China. Chinese people become more and more open-minded and the youngth are like to accept new things.
For attending classes, you can just dress yourself as usual in your country. Just do not wear something too revealing.
