Do chinese overeat?

Visiting Chinese student ate 10 biscuits at afternoon tea. Australian stopped at two which seemed mannerly. Was wondering if Chinese girl thought it mannerly to eat more to show appreciation?.

Oh, 10 is too many in that case, even in China. Maybe she was really hungry, or she was not well-educated to behave in a proper way.

The student just had a big lunch. My friends who brought her do hone stay and they say all their students are the same. It's seems because they pay they eat more than necessary. Why she did it with me I don't know as just visiting for the day
