Two visa free transits in Shanghai

I am travelling to Shanghai and I will be staying there for 3 days before I make my way to Hong Kong and then travel around Thailand. I will then be flying back to Shanghai for 4 days before I fly back to England. Is it possible to use the free transit twice in a three week period? Thanks
