which area in xian has the easiest public transport - arrving north railway station?

We are arriving on overnight train from Beijing. WHICH AREA is easiest to get to on public transport - and what mode of transport do you suggest (budget).It is only a short stay so we need quick and easy access to public transport to see the sights. Can you suggest  a budget place - a family group of 6 adults. After we will fly to Guilin. What transport should we take to the airport? Buses to T-warriors leave from station so what is the easiest way to get to the station and from the station when we arrive?

You may stay near the main railway station. The Super 8 Hotel at No. 165, Jiefang Road, Xincheng District is a nice choice. Upon arrival at North Railway Station, take metro line 2 to Beidajie Station, and change to metro line 1 to Wulukou Station, Exit D. Walk north along Jiefang Road for about 500 yards to the hotel. To the airport, you may take airport shuttle bus Railway Station Line from Longhai Hotel at No. 306, Jiefang Road, Xincheng District. You may walk south for about 200 yards from Super 8 Hotel, and you can find it. To Terracotta Warriors, walk north for about 400 yards to main railway station, and take tourist bus line 5 (306) to the attraction. :)
