location to apply for visa

Question

I am traveling with a tour group to PRC. An entry permit is required.  I live in Kentucky. Do I have to drive to Washington DC?? to apply for a China entry permit??

Jeanette, you have to apply from the embassy in D. C. If you don't want to go there in person, you can entrust others to submit the application for you.
