Well, they are 240-250km apart and it may be a little hard to hire a regular taxi for such a long distance. If insisting in traveling by car, you may try to turn to a car rental company and the fare may be CNY800-1,000. Alternatively, at local General Long-distance Bus Station, you can take the shuttle bus to Chaoshan High-speed Rail Station with the cost of CNY18 per person. There you can catch a bullet train to Xiamen in 1.5h, and the fare is CNY61.5-65 per person.1
