How long will it take to walk to the summit of Mt. Emei?

Where is the best starting point? Is there a possibility to sleep on the summit and also on the way to the summit?
How much is the price about for a double room? We will go there at the beginning of October this year.

If you want to walk to the summit of Mt. Emei, it is really a hard journey. It may takes more than 12 hours from Baoguo Temple. I do suggest you take cable car up. The hotels in the Golden Summit is a little bit expensive, especially during Chinese holidays. From Oct 01 to Oct 07, it is the Chinese National Holiday. During that period of time, there will be many people travelling in the mountain. You'd better to change your date to avoid this time period.
