About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Swiss flying through Munich to Shanghai

I plan to fly from Zurich to Munich onwards to Shanghai. I will stay three days in Shanghai and then fly badk to Munich and then to Zurich. Does the 72 hours visa free transit apply for me?

Yes as long as the country you arrive from before China is different then the one you depart to after you leave China. It's needs to be 3 different countries

No you can't apply for the twov.
Your flight route is Munich - Shanghai - Munich for the chinese immigration.
So the twov doesn't work for you in this case.
