Changing schools in China

I have the X1 visa, when I get to PRC can I decide to register in a different school instead of the school which gave me the jw201 and admission letter for my X type?

Ron, I think you can change to study in another school after you enter PRC.
But the previous school you registered needs to issue you a dropout certificate.
And you also need to get new JW201 form or JW202 form from the new school and admission letter from the new school.
After that, you should go to the local PSB the new school resides to change your residence permit.
