Looking to travel in China in August 8th-23rd

Is it the rainy season during this time? If so does it rain constantly or just short sharp showers?
Would love to book, but concerned with the rainy season? Is it still worth booking during this month.
Thanks in advance.
Sheila

It depends on where you are going to visit. Normally, August is the rainy season in north area with short sharp showers. You are suggested to take umbrellas and raincoats on the trip.
