Hi I'm looking to visit BJ this August around 8th-22nd. With my two young daughters aged 11 and 14.
Will it be very crowded due to the vacation times? The weather does not seem too much of a problem as have travelled to places of 33c. What are the best things to do during this month? Are there any festivals?
Many Thanks in advance
Sheila

August is the school summer holiday. Most attractions will be more crowded than usual time but it may not effect your visits. There is no big festival in August. You can visit Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, old Hutongs, Summer Palace, etc.
