How do I travel by MTR from Cosmopolitan Hotel on Queens Road East, Wan Chai to Sha Tin Racecourse?

This is pretty complicated and its better to take a bus to be honest. See #2 for easiest way.
1.
Go to the Wan Chai MTR station, go down 2 levels to the west island line towards Sheung Wan. Get off at the next station which will be ADMIRALTY. (Alternatively, You can get off at Central MTR station to get a guaranteed seat.) Take the red Tsuen Wan line towards Tsuen Wan. Get off at Mong Kok and take the green Kwun Tong line towards Tiu King Leng. Get off at Kowloon Tong and go down stairs to the east rail line. Take the train going to Lok Ma Chau or Lo Wu (NOT HUNG HOM, wrong way.) Get off at Sha tin which is 2 stops.

2.
Easiest way:
Take a cross harbor bus to hung hom (111, 115, 101, etc) and get off at the stop right after you leave the tunnel (near the university). Go upstairs and walk across the bridge over the highway to the east rail line. This is the start of the MTR so you can't go the wrong way. Get off at Sha tin which is about 4 stops.
