italy to beijing, can i use the 72 hour free transit?

Hello. Myself and a couple friends are wanting to travel to Beijing from Italy. We will arrive the 26th of March and be leaving the 28th of march to go back to Italy. Basically a 48 hour trip to see the great wall ETC. I just want to make sure I am within the requirements for a 72 hour free transit visa before I purchase my tickets tomorrow. Thank you!

For your trip you must apply for a tourist visa.The 72h twov is not eligible for you as you can´t fly back to the country you came from.
