Thanks Collin can i mention i read this on this forum  after visiting Beijing, where will you leave for? If you leave for HK, you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit  . Do u know if its true , as HK is part of china Now . My flight plan is from London to beijing (stay less than 72 hours ) then HK then Bangkok and then BK to London . I will omit Beijing if can not get transit visa . too much hassle to apply for normal visa . regards
