visitation enquiry, how to apply for a visit visa to visit my fiance in Shanghai?

Hello my name is Emmanuel I want to visit my fiance in shanghai, this is my first time to do that...how do I go about getting a visiting entry permit...and what other requirements or documents do I need to present....thanks........

Hi dear, first of all, you need to prepare all required documents, including a valid passport and a photocopy of it, a filled-out application form attached with your recent photo, an invitation letter from your fiance and perhaps a copy of his passport or ID card. Then go to the embassy, submit all the documents, and make an appointment. Next, go there for an interview on the appointed day and the officer will give you a pick-up form if you pass the interview. Finally, you can go to the consular officer to collect your passport.
