No, you don’t need it because you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit. You can go to the city, but you need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and it is free.

Hello. Thank you for your reply.

I would like to ask for a URL where this information is taken? I have never seen this information anywhere. Usually I see that you need a transit visa (if passport is from the Philippines) for transit that lasts for 72 hours. Also, I also see that you can stay within the airport for 24 hours without the need for immigration.

I want to get out of the airport and explore the city, but I am looking for the URL with the information you provided just to confirm. Thanks

You can find relevant information on this website. Below the webpage of “72-Hour Visa-Free Transit”, you will find “Difference between 72-hour Free Transit and Direct Transit” which is what you look for.
