About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Work Permit and Residence Visa

I got a valid residence permit (until 2017) with employment as a purpose, however my work permit has been cancelled. Can I use my valid residence permit (without the work permit) to enter China?

If your employer didn’t report your situation to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB and the residence permit hasn’t been cancelled, you can use it to enter PRC.
