Gina, may I know where you will fly to after you transit in Guangzhou? If it is a third country or region instead of Thailand, you can enjoy the free transit. You don’t need to apply for an entry permit.

Hi there, thanks a lot for your answer! After 2 day staying Guangzhou I will fly back to Vietnam for 4 days then heading back to San Francisco.
Here is my actual 11 days trip:
San Francisco-Saigon Vietnam-Chiang Mai Thailand-Guangzhou China-Saigon Vietnam-San Francisco
Hope that I don't need a visa to get into Guangzhou!
Thanks again and have a nice day!
