About:China Private Visit Visa

Traveling to China for Second Time

I have an S2 Chinese Visa with Multiple Entry. I visited my relative in Shanghai last year and am going again this year. Do I need anything else this year besides the Chinese entry permit in my passport that doesn't expire for a number of years? I wonder if I need an invitation letter, copy of my relative's passport, copy of my relative's residence permit, etc.?

Yes, you just need to take your passport with the S2 type to enter PRC.
You don’t need to provide an invitation letter, and copies of your relative’s passport and residence.
