Preserved Animal In Resin

I am leaving China with some gifts which include a preserved rabbit, permanently embedded in clear resin. ( a block, hard as rock). Would that be a problem?

I'm afraid that would be forbidden. As I know, animal samples will be not allowed to pass the customs. Don't do that, or consult the customs in advance.

Chan, thanks for the response. I am leaving today and I spoke to a customs agent at a counter in the terminal and she said that I should walk it through security and voluntarily show it to the customs agents upon exit...if I explained that it was a preserved medical specimen, not issue.
