Changing visa L to working type Z
Is there a fee to change the type of visa you have ?

It’s possible to change L type to work Z type and it usually charges CNY1100. It’s just for a reference. The final payment depends on how much the exit and entry administration of the local PSB charges.0

You can't change an L-visa to a working Z-visa inside China. You are supposed to apply for it in your home country. Sometimes you can get it in Hong Kong if the official application form is addressed to the Hong Kong foreign affairs office0
