About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Can i change my X2 visa in to Z type?

I have been doing course in china and also before im coming to china i have applied for Job and now i got offer from the company. so,Here my question is it possible to convert my x2 type in to the Z type?
the company can assist me to get the work Z type.
or else i have to get back to my country and reapply for the z type?

Vignesh, personally, I think it’s possible for you to change X2 type to work Z type. You can have a try at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB. Your company needs to get you the work permit and invitation issued from a duly authorized unit and then you provide other required documents to try to apply for it.
If it cannot be done in PRC, I’m afraid you need to get back and apply for it in your home country.
