how to get from chengdu to dazu?

Is there a high-speed train and then how can I get to the carved grottoes?  How long does it take? Can I do it in a one day round-trip?

There are six high speed trains between Chengdu and Dazu. It takes around 1 - 1.5 hours. If you can take the early morning train to Dazu, then one day round-trip is doable.
