About:China Visa

I am Malaysian, currently studying in UK.How do I apply for work permit for internship in Beijing

May I know the documents and cost and time frame and do I need to come back to Malaysia to apply or can my internship company apply on my behalf? Do I need a medical ? Internship is for summer vacation only.

Sharon, if you just do the internship for a summer vacation, I think a business M visa is okay. If so, you need to provide those documents:
1. The completed application form with a recently-taken passport-style photo glued
2. Your passport and copy of its data page
3. Your study permit in UK
4. An invitation letter from your internship company.
It costs 86 pounds.
You can apply for it at the CVASC in UK on your own. The medical report is not needed.
