About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, I'm going to Beijing from Hong Kong on an Irish passport just to see the Great Wall.

I will be in Beijing for just 56 hours, am i eligible for the 72 hour free transit or must I pay for a visa?
Thank you
Rachel

Rachel, after visiting Beijing, where will you leave for? If you leave for HK, you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit. If you leave for another country, you can use this free transit policy.

Hi Rachel, this route is not applicable. You can go to HK to Beijing and fly to Macau before returning to HK.
