what is guilin like in dec/ jan

Just wondering if it is still picturesque in the winter months?

Due to the mild weather in Guilin, all kinds of flowers blossom all year round. However, the scenery in December and January appears less vital than usual. The optimum time to travel Guilin is from April to October.

HI,
I am also interested about weather in December January: is not the best season to visit terraces, minority villages and Guilin I think?

It is not a very good time to visit Guilin in winter as the weather is bit cold and the sceneries along the Li River is poor. You are suggested to travel after April. However, the sceneries at rice terraces would be excellent during winter time.
