About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

can cabin crew holding standby tickets utilise this visa free policy?

I'd like to try this 6-day free program by leaving China (within 6 days) to Jpn before returning Australia. Will immi let me in for holding airline standby tickets?
The ticket itself doesn't specify my flight attendant status, nor "standby". But it'll be awful if I get rejected on spot. Thanks

Andy, I’m afraid you cannot use the free transit by holding standby tickets. According to the policy, you should hold an onward ticket with confirmed seat and date. If you have still doubts, you can contact with the airport immigration inspection office and confirm that.
