Marriage in China, can I work after marriage?

Hello, I was wondering after I marry my wife in China, I'm American and she is Chinese, will I be able to stay in PRC after marriage and can I work there? I have a pension but I want to work too, I'm over sixty? Thank you for any help you can give me...

Bradley, if you want to work, you should apply for a work Z type and then enter PRC to apply for a residence permit. After that, you can work in PRC and also stay with your wife then.
