About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing terminal change, 72 hour free transit or transit G visa?

Hello, I will be traveling from Seattle, USA to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in May. I'm a US passport holder. My travel agent said I will be landing at Terminal 2 in Beijing and my connecting flight is from Terminal 3. Do I need to get transit G type or apply for 72 hour free transit?
Rgds, Rose.

Rose, you don’t need to apply for a transit G type. The 72 hour free transit is applicable to your situation.
