bus from hekou to yuan yang rice terraces

Question

Where can I take bus from Hekou to Yuan Yang?  What time and how much?  How long is the journey?In the Rice Field, is the bus near there or do we need to hike to see the beautiful rice terrces?  Where is choices for us to stay?

Hi, at the New Coach Station in Hekou, there are direct buses to Xinjie Town. I remember only two schedules are available in the morning, but not sure about the timing. It takes around 4h to reach. Then it is best to hire a car to the scenic area for fun, because no tourist bus seems available. It costs CNY300-400/day. And you can stay in the Xinjie Town for convenience.

I am crossing from Vietnam border. How far to get to the bus station? Xinjie is the yuan yang rice terrace ?

After crossing the Hekou Border to China, you can find the bus station close by. You can walk there within several minutes. Don't worry! Yes, Xinjie Town is where the terrace is located and they are only 6km or around apart.
