About:Hong Kong Visa Application

I am Canadian scheduled to join cruise ship in HK and itinerary visits mainland in China.

is it easy to arrive in HK and apply for fast trac Visa once I arrive?

Well, Margo, you had better apply for it in advance. The VOA is hard to get if you are not in emergencies.

You can get a 'normal' visa in 2 days time from the Chinese consulate in HK, or in one day from an agent. I can recommend an agent. Price is about the same or even cheaper!
