what visa do i need from honduras

I lived in USA as a permanent resident, from Honduras, and i am planning a business meeting in Japan. My itinerary is either Dallas to Beijing and the follow day to Japan and then Dallas or falls to Japan then Beijing to Dallas. I would like to visit Beijing a full day or 36 hours if possible.Do I need to apply for an L visa as a tourist?Thank you

Hugo, if you will transit in Beijing for 36 hours, you need to apply for a tourist L type ahead of your trip. But if you just stay in Beijing for no more than 24 hours, you can enjoy the direct transit and tourist L type is not needed.
