About:Soft Sleeper

Is there bus leaving from ancient town of Dali to Shaxi or do I have to go back to New Town first?

And where can I buy the bus ticket in old town?

There is no bus to Shaxi from the ancient town. So, you may take bus line 8 to North Passenger Transport Station. Then, take a bus to Jianchuan (about 3 hours). Upon arrival, take a mini-bus to Shaxi (about 1 hour). :)

You can go to Landscape Hotel in 96 Yuer road and they can help you with that. There are 2 buses: one at 9:00 and one at 15:00. 60 Yuan per person.
