Transportation in Shantou's Attractions

I planned to visit the following attractions:
1) Zhongshan Park
2) Tian Tan Garden
3) Seashore Corridor
4) ST University
5) People's Square

May I know what is the best transport to take and how to get there? Thanks.

You are suggested to make full use of local city buses to commute:
To Zhongshan Park, bus routes 2, 3, 5, 7, 14, 17, 18, 32 and 101 can take you there directly. Get off at Gongyuantou stop. To Tiantan Garden, you can take bus no. 11, 37 or 49 to reach.

Seashore Corridor extends around 2km. Bus nos. 9, 12, 17, 18, 24, 25, 53, 101 and 103 lead there. You can get off at Guangchang Lundu, and walk to the park.

To the university, bus nos. 6, 17, 21, 27 and 41 will work. And line 13, 16, 33, 36, and 52 can directly take you to the People's Square.

Thanks for your reply.

1)Will we be able to visit all the places within a day from say 9am to 6pm?
2) Besides commute via bus, how much will it cost to hire a private car for a day for 5 people?

I'm afraid one day is too tight to cover them all in details. I'd recommend you spend at least two days. And renting a private car in town to tour you around costs CNY400-500/day.
