About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

can I use the standard Octopus card to travel from hong kong airport to Kowloon?

Or do I have to buy another airport express card as well?

No, you don’t need to buy another card or ticket for the Airport Express ride. Use the standard octopus card to take the AE, the fare will be deducted automatically. Beside, the card can also be used on bus, ferry and other MTR lines.
