hong konrambler garden hotel to ngong ping

me and my friends are having our first trip to HK. can someone help us on1. how to get to ngong ping from rambler garden hotel? 2. and from ngong ping to mong kok?  thankyou.

1. Take bus no.42 at Ching Tao House Cheung Ching Estate, go to Lai King Railway Station. Then transfer to Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung Station. After arriving, walk to Cable Car Lower Terminus and take it the destination. 2. Take the cable car and go back to Tung Chung Station first. Then take Tung Chung Line to Lai King Station and Tsuen Wan Line to Mong Kok Station. It takes around 40 mins with the fare of 16.5 HKD per person.
