About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

do i need a transit visa or not???

i am trvelling to Taiwan from India on 27th of February 2016 and then back to India from Taiwan on 5th March 2016.
My travel time is avg 36 hrs for both times
i am not getting out of airport but staying at airport for 23 hrs to catch next connecting flight
Kindly let me know if i require transit entry permit for China ?

Shail, you mean you will transit in mainland PRC in both directions? If so, you should make sure that your layover time on a one-way trip is not more than 24 hours so as to make use of the 24-hour direct transit policy. If the time is longer, you need to apply for a G type in advance.
