temporary office relocation, what type of visa needed?

Hi there,
I am Romanian, currently working on a permanent contract in the Netherlands for a UK based company. We have one office in Shanghai and I am planning to go work from there for a couple of months (2-3 months). I am not sure which type of entry permit I would need for that and what the best procedure would be. I was told I could go there on a sort of business trip entry permit and that should be fine, yet I would need some more advice on this. Also, do you know how is it taxes-related ? I will keep working for the same company within my current role ie on a NL contract and salary. Thanks so much for your advice!

Ada, according to what you said, I think a business M type is okay. Because you just work 3 months in PRC, and if you receive your payment from your company in Netherlands, you don't need to pay tax for China.

Thanks so much for getting back to me Debbie! Do you know if and where I can find this information online? I would need something official to present to my company. They are not making things easier for me unfortunately :( and I just need something to prove them it's quite an easy process to relocate to China if I stay no more than 3 months (and that no taxes are required for this period). Thanks again! Ada

You can find the relevant information on the website of CVASC or the PRC embassy.
