Age requirements for a Z visa

I was told by a Recruitment agent that I had to be 25 years old to acquire a Z type.. He them told me it would be best if i got a 6 month study X type and then another 6 month study X type and work on that..

This sounds very dodgy to me should i be worried?

Mario, in principle, the minimum age for work in China is 18. However, it's true that in some cities, the minimum age limit for alien employees are 24 or 25. If you are below the limit, you can't get a work license. Anyway, it's illegal to work on a student X type. You had better not do that.

You normally need 2 years post graduation to get a Z-visa.
