If I want to spend 2 days in this ancient complex, do I have to buy a ticket for each day?

No, you only need to buy one ticket for the two day visit. Actually, you can stay inside as long as you want with ont ticket. But if you get out, you will need another one.

Thanks a lot Dave! Do you know how much it is for 2-day entrance ticket? Does it for multiple entry? I am planning for an accommodation, but not sure about this pricely entrance fee.

It costs CNY 243 (CNY 140 for the admission fee + CNY 100 for the sightseeing bus + CNY 3 for a travel insurance). I am sorry that it is for single entry. To enter it again, you need to provide your previous ticket to the staff at the ticketing window and pay CNY 50. :)
