About:Guangzhou Railway Station

asking direction

Halo, I will be staying at taisheng hotel. If I want to catch a train to changsa, which way is more convenient and faster? To guangzhou east or GZ south?
And how long and the cost also if I using by bus or taxi? Tq

All the high speeds to Changsha depart from GZ south and other normal type depart from GZ east. If you need the high speed type, you need to go for GZ south instead which is farther compared with east station. But there is metro line 3 available between (start from Haizhu square) and cost CNY5 per person. If you take a taxi, it would be about CNY60. The trip would be around 40min based on the traffic.

If I using a bus, how long I've been to get to south station?from yuexi district?

Hi, there is no direct bus from the hotel to GZ south. As i know, metro is the most popular way as well as the cheapest way from your direction. The one way trip may around 40min but if you take the waiting time etc into consideration, it would be better to leave around 1 hour. By the way, you need to arrive at the station in advance for boarding process like a flight as well.
